Lowercase o in Cursive
Watch the lowercase o being written, then follow the numbered steps. Start just under the midline at the top right of an oval and travel counterclockwise, up and over to the left first.
Step by step
- Start at the top of the oval, just below the midline.
- Curve up and left, down around the left side and the baseline.
- Come up the right side and close the oval at the top.
Tip: When an o joins another letter, it ends with a bridge stroke across the midline, not down at the baseline.
How o joins
o joins every lowercase letter. It finishes high, at the middle line, so the next letter starts up there with a bridge instead of from the baseline.
