Looped capitals and joined lowercase in the style most US schools have taught.

Signature script

A formal connected script for signatures, invitations and tattoos.

How to make a signature that's yours

  1. Pick the parts. Full name, first initial and last name, or initials only. Shorter signatures are easier to repeat.
  2. Choose a style. Try each script above and note which capitals you like.
  3. Trace it. Print a tracing sheet of your name and trace the model until the movement is automatic.
  4. Make it your own. Simplify letters, extend the last stroke or add an underline. A signature only needs to be consistent and written by you.
  5. Practise little and often until it looks the same every time.

An image of a signature is not the same as a legally binding e-signature. For contracts, use the signing tool your bank, employer or document service provides.

Questions

Is this signature generator free?

Yes. Downloads are free and the fonts are open-licensed, so the images can be used for any purpose.

Is my name uploaded?

No. The signature is drawn in your browser and the file is created on your device.

Can I use the PNG to sign a PDF?

You can place the transparent PNG in a document like any image. Whether that counts as signing depends on who receives it; many organisations require their own e-signature process.
